Is Venom a villain?

The truth is that we have previously mentioned Venom as a villain, but this is not entirely true. His appearances in spider-man, both in movies and comics have been in the form of a villain. But the last movie starring Eddie Brock left us with another point of view. We saw a Venom who, without forgetting his perverse side, could be considered a hero in the film. Now it remains to be seen if we will see him more times, and if he will be as a hero or as a villain. What powers does the Venom symbiont suit have?

You may wonder what powers Venom has, since in the movie we could see some of them, but not all. There is nothing like getting to know the character of your new figure.

This implies that they can replicate the attacks being in another body, as if it were the other one. Adaptive Survival: Symbionts have a weakness, which is the need for a host in the long run to stay alive. This has led to symbiotes like Venom having to do what they can to keep their host alive and surviving. This has caused Venom to be able to produce oxygen in the water or the universe. Or even create new limbs if their host has lost them.

Camouflage: The great flexibility to change bodies has made them incredible camouflage geniuses, and Venom can create or replicate people’s clothing to camouflage its host. So it is not just a symbiont ability, but it can help its wearer to hide in the moment it is needed.

Chemical Manipulation: The union of the symbiont with its host makes it only one. This means that the symbiont has almost complete control over its host to make changes or modify that which it does not like.  This has caused for example Venom to affect its carrier’s chemicals to change its mood. When Eddie was sad, Venom can calm him down or change his mood by modifying his body chemistry. This is undoubtedly a very curious skill and one that does not seem to have much evil in it.

Improved Healing: We have already seen how the symbiont alone can heal with great speed, even though it has suffered from its worst enemies, fire and ultrasonic sound. We saw Venom reconstruct itself after these two enemies it has as a symbiont. What is curious is that this ability also applies to its host. This means that if someone is able to break through the great layer of symbiont that is Venom, and hurt its host, Venom can use its ability to regenerate it incredibly quickly.
